Notes from the studio

3 min read

On considered objects, and the patience of a finishing pad.

Each piece starts in the founder's notebook, then moves to a clay master, then to a small-batch cast. We never make more than the studio can finish by hand in a single run.

Finishing takes longer than casting. Surfaces are worked with progressively finer pads — six grades, by hand — until the patina catches the light cleanly.

Before you order

Things worth knowing.

How is each piece finished?+

By hand, in our Lahore workshop. The casting is the start — the surface is where the time goes.

Will my piece be identical to the photographs?+

Each finish varies very slightly. We consider this a feature, not a flaw.

Shipping and packing.+

Wood-cradle crate, foam-lined. 2–4 days within Pakistan; 7–14 days international by air.

Care and ageing.+

Wipe with a dry, soft cloth. Bronze finishes deepen slightly with time — this is intentional.
